DEVELOPED BY OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN DR. JOHN E. UPLEDGER

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) offers a distinct approach to manual therapy. Developed by Dr. John E. Upledger, this modality focuses on the craniosacral system—the membranes and fluid surrounding, protecting, and nourishing the brain and spinal cord.

Using a light touch of approximately five grams, practitioners evaluate and enhance the functioning of this vital system. By releasing restrictions within the fascial and dural layers, you allow the body’s self-correcting mechanisms to function more efficiently. It is a powerful addition to any practice, offering a way to address the root cause of dysfunction in the central nervous system.

YOUR TRAINING PATHWAY

Each level of training builds both technical skill and therapeutic presence.
Students progress from understanding the core rhythm to facilitating emotional release with confidence and safety.

CST 1: THE FOUNDATION OF CRANIOSACRAL TOUCH

CST 1 builds your sensory awareness.

You learn to feel the craniosacral rhythm, understand its qualities, and follow subtle movements in the membranes and fluids. Your hands learn to listen before they act.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • History and transformation of Upledger CST

  • How to palpate the craniosacral rhythm with clarity

  • Hand placements to feel CST patterns

  • The complete 10-Step Protocol

  • How the craniosacral system influences tension and the nervous system

  • Techniques that create steadiness and trust during sessions

CST 2: BEYOND
THE DURA

CST 2 develops your ability to work with deeper structures.

You address cranial and facial tensions through mouthwork, follow lesion patterns, and navigate complex mechanical restrictions with precision.

This level also introduces energetic and neurological elements that refine your assessment skills.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Mouthwork techniques for cranial and facial release

  • How to identify and correct lesions and mechanical dysfunction

  • How to locate and unwind energy cysts

  • How to work with facilitated segments

  • How to combine CST 1 and CST 2 in comprehensive sessions

SOMATOEMOTIONAL RELEASE (SER): ACCESSING THE DEEPER STORY

SER training expands your ability to work with the emotional and energetic patterns behind physical tension.

You learn to guide clients as their system brings forward memories, images, and sensations tied to their symptoms. The training introduces dialogue approaches, including Gestalt, and teaches you how to follow the body’s internal direction as release unfolds on its own timeline.

You build clear dialoguing skills, track subtle shifts in energy and imagery, and hold steady space for clients moving through layered emotional material. These levels refine your presence, strengthen your listening, and show you how to integrate CST techniques with the client’s inner narrative to support deeper, lasting change.

Meet Sasha

Your CST Coach

Sasha began his career as a board-certified OB-GYN and later studied osteopathy in Europe. After years treating symptoms and protocols, he noticed something: many clients would experience relief… then relapse. He felt the standard tools were missing something essential — the body’s own intelligence.
In his 14-year exploration through psychology, Ayurveda, energy work and osteopathy, Sasha discovered a shift: when you stop forcing solutions and start listening to the body, healing becomes real.

When he encountered Upledger Institute International Craniosacral Therapy (CST), everything aligned: a method that respected anatomy, physiology and his clinical background — yet allowed for touch, intuition and deep change.

Since then, Sasha has logged over 3,000 client sessions across Ukraine, Hong Kong and Bali, and taught more than 500 students worldwide as a CST-D (Diplomate Certified Coach).
